Greenhouse gasses and carbon emissions are causing the worlds climate to rise and unless we cut down on these emissions immediately, scientists predict serious global issues such as droughts, flooding, fires and poverty. Lets make the right individual choices to cut back on emissions!

Be conscious about the worlds climate and waste issues. Take in to consideration how much energy and waste you consume in your day to day life. If you really want to make a difference, write to your local council or start a campaign.

Walk Don't Drive

  • This is an obvious one, but if you're really serious about cutting down on your carbon footprint, use those legs more!

  • Only heading down the road to your local shop? Walk, don't drive.

  • Not only are you helping the planet, but you're also keeping yourself fit.

  • Get a bike or go for a run.

  • We deserve to breathe in fresh, clean air!

Buy A Bike!

  • Cycling is a much better alternative to driving or public transport as this way you are creating zero carbon emissions.

  • Even better...purchase a bike that is pre-loved!

Alway Carry A Cloth Bag

  • Always carry a cloth bag on you, this prevents the need to use a plastic alternative.

  • Those small, clear plastic bags you put your fruit and veg in when you go shopping…stop using them. Take a cloth bag with you and use them instead!

  • Try to avoid buying fruit and veg already wrapped in plastic.

Use Public Transport

  • Using a bus, train or another form of public transport is a much better way of getting from A to B.

  • Using public transport instead of driving a car reduces the number of emissions created per person.

Fly Less

  • Planes contribute to a massive amount of emissions so do you really need to fly abroad to the business meeting you have planned, or could you video call instead?

  • Go on holiday to local areas.

  • Go on holiday by train or boat instead.

Use Video Calling Instead Of Travelling

  • Do you really need to travel the world for the business meeting you have planned?

  • Alternatively, use a video calling platform to share ideas and reduce your carbon footprint!
